How many hours do we need to get enough sleep? The answer can be relative because a different person has different need of sleep. However, it is common to say that we need at least eight hours for sleeping. On the other hand, we may need to work a little more every day that we never get that “enough” time of sleeping. So, what should we do?

How to Sleep Less and Stay Healthy

Actually, there are some ways that you can do to sleep less, but still stay healthy. It must be a good news for you who usually sleep less because you need to keep up with your duty. Here are some o the rules that you can follow.

  1. Get quality of sleep, not only quantity

What is important for your body is not only the number of hours you spend to sleep, your quality of sleep is also crucial to make your body stay healthy. So, if you want to sleep less, you need to aim for good quality of sleep. To get good sleeping quality, you must not eat before you are going sleep. Try to sleep in quiet, darker room. And, don’t drink coffee or other things that can make you stay away six hours before your bedtime.

  1. Change your sleeping habit

Your body is accustomed to a pattern which is actually able to be changed in time. You can make your sleeping pattern better if you try to do it. It is important to have a permanent sleeping pattern so that your body is able to adjust to its regular sleeping schedule. Try to go sleep at the same time each day and sleep in the same duration as well.
